Hi there! I'm Nisiman. I'm a Software Engineer at PolyAI, based in London. I graduated from The University of Edinburgh in July 2024 with a first-class honours degree in Computer Science. Before Edinburgh, I was a student at The Mother's International School, New Delhi. You can read about my experiences in my resume.
In my free time, you can find me playing a sport or chess. I also enjoy music and can play the Bansuri and a bit of guitar. My favourite musicians include Daft Punk

Projects
Human Activity Recognition App
Android application to parse live movement data from Nordic Thingy and Respeck sensors using Bluetooth. The app also classifies 44 stationary and dynamic activities, including running, hyperventilation, coughing etc., with a 97% accuracy. The TensorFlow classification models use Convolutional Neural Networks and were deployed using TFLite. The app is intended to be used in a hospital setting to record and store activities on multiple patient accounts.
